.the lovely family attended a very special event last ngiht. returning home i see 3 paper bags, filled to the top with dentist bills. 

.I swear no matter how old you are receiving a bag of lollies will always be just as exciting.

.considering that she has been quite present throughout the blog, i thought it only appropriate to do a 'feature post,' and yes i am referring to the older sister...ish. Being blonde, 5.75 ft and having sticks for legs she more or less screams model (i shall be running that idea by her when she returns home.) Below are just a few photos of my favorite 18 year old.

So, it was my birthday a couple of weeks ago and I wanted to share some of my amazing presents with you.

Whenever I wear this jacket I feel like Max from 'Where the Wild Things Are', it makes me happy and makes me feel like a kid that has no boundaries!

.Whether she is embracing her never ending collection of drool worthy clothes, or showing off the sizeable gap between her teeth, Jessica Hart has taken the fashion world by storm. 

.I'll admit it though, i was never so in love with her. I mean yes, no one can deny the fact that her Bettina Liano and Guess ads were to die for but i never really saw much of a difference between her and the next beautiful model. It wasn't until i came across her blog (www.jesicahart.net/blog) that I seriously fell in love. Its fabulously refreshing to find a model who can consistently pull out killer outfits that represent her own personal style and not just that of the fashion industry.

.Anyway, before this post turns into a small,or maybe long, essay I should return to some school work, joy. In the process of organising tonights festivities, hopefully will be a big one, planning on capturing a few happy snaps to be posted and will definitely be drawing some inspiration from this 24 year old.

.Eventful Creations.

.Friday night called for a little creativity. Had to make a 'Widows Mourning Hat' for a media project. Hat needed to be made for the next day where it would then venture to the cemetery to be worn in a media production. Both the hat the the project turned out surprisingly well.

.Shortly after finishing the hat I had a sudden urge to bake. Did someone say red velvet icing?.

.A Drop of Individuality.

. everyone's room is supposed to be a reflection of themselves, and i could never master this whole idea. for months i have been rearranging and changing pretty much everything. anyway i walked in this afternoon and realised i actually REALLY liked it (disregarding the mess of course). So i have decided to share a few of my favourite bits with you lovely people..enjoy.

regarding the above photo i was very inspired by one of my many artistic friends and decided to test my drawing ability. was the first time i actually succeeded with something drawing related and hung them on my wall to give hte illusion that it wasnt just a one time thing... i thought it was pretty clever.
